We’re really excited to show off our new newsletter feature. Available on FRONTSTEPS, this new tool allows you to send out custom email newsletters to residents. The best part is that it’s really easy to use – there’s no coding or HTML. Phew! So, HOAs, COAs, and PMCs can now build unique newsletters to engage with residents about their community, promote security, and keep everyone informed. There are so many features, we can't show you everything in one blog, so be sure and check back again to learn about more features. Here are a few tips to get you started:
Start by navigating to the communications tab on the left hand. Then, click MANAGE TEMPLATES and then NEW TEMPLATE. After you build it, you can re-use it again and again. Once it's built, enter the email address where recipients can send replies.
Choose a subject line (title)
Choose the group (these are pulled from your current groups) and then choose the sub group.
Create your custom email using the drag and drop feature. On the right hand side, you’ll see three tabs: Content, Row, and Body. When you click on the tab, you will see all the options.
Start with ROW. Choose if you want one long chunk of text, two or three, or little ones together and then simply grab them and drag them into the editor.
Once you build the framework, click on CONTENT. Here you get to decide if you want a header image (i.e., your community logo) or text, a button, or a divider line. Grab IMAGE and drag it over into the content area where you want it. Do the same for text or a button. It’s easy to enter text, links, images, a button, or a divider line.
You can preview your email anytime. The button for that is in the top right hand corner. When you’re ready to send, click Update Newsletter (at the bottom of your screen) and then you’ll have a draft ready to go. Now you can either send it right away, schedule it, or send yourself another test email … just to be sure it looks perfect. That’s it!
