Sandra Jones-Robinson is a part of the FRONTSTEPS procurement team! She's been with us for a little over a year and manages customer orders for two of our products, dwellingLIVE and CapSure. "Shipping product from our FRONTSTEPS office is one of our tasks and having patience is a must, " said Sandy. Here's just a little more about our friend, Sandy.
Tell me a little about your family and some special things about your family!
I am married and have a son and a step-daughter. My son is a Massage Therapist and will be traveling to Spain for basketball camp and international tryouts this coming summer. My step-daughter is a lawyer in the Denver area.
My family loves gardening, every year we plant a vegetable garden including tomatoes, potatoes, leafy greens, mint and squash even my dog Shadow loves the leafy greens. One night a week is at home movie night, we watch everything from horror (not my favorite), comedy, drama and sci-fi.
What’s your favorite thing to do on the weekends? Do you have a favorite show that you can’t wait to watch?
When I am not learning to make jewelry, it would have to be Home improvement projects. If you ask my husband we have 1001 projects to complete inside and outside our home. We take pride in every improvement we complete. If I had to choose one, my favorite show would have to be the comedy “The Big Bang Theory.” It is funny and makes you laugh which helps relieve stress.
When you take a break from working, you are always reading. What are your top 3 books that you’ve read? Why do you love them?
Top three books I have enjoyed would be Down a Lost Road by J. Leigh Bralick, Double Cross by James Patterson and all Joanne Fluke books. I like science fiction because it takes you away from current reality and makes you think “what if”. James Patterson, what can’t you say about James, he knows how to keep you on the edge of your seat with his mysteries and Joanne Fluke (Blueberry Muffin Murder and Cream Puff Murder) take place in a small town where the main character is a would-be detective who owns a bakery so there are recipes you can try.
Tell me what you love about working at FRONTSTEPS?
Of course, the people, but it is exciting being part of a company that is becoming #1 in the tech software industry.
Todd has a very unique sense of humor. What makes him a good boss?
Todd allows us to do our job without micro managing. He believes we are adults and we know how to perform our daily tasks. Todd is very easy to work with and has patience beyond belief. Knowledge is key and Todd has a great understanding regarding the procurement processes.
Todd Bischoff, procurement manager, thinks Sandy is pretty much the glue that keeps their team together!
"She is here at 7:45am on the dot every single day and stays until at least 5pm to make sure our customers are always taken care of. She has a definite “Can Do” attitude and doesn’t shy away from taking calls from our most demanding customers," said Bischoff.
