You Asked, We Listened: Directory Redesign and Email Updates

We’ve made some enhancements to the FRONTSTEPS platform focused around usability that we’re excited to share with you. These enhancements are part of our continued #YouAskedWeListened initiative, where we’re focusing on making improvements to existing features to make them easier to use. This initiative is fueled by user feedback, so keep your comments coming our way!

Today we’re launching two enhancements to the platform. First off, we’ve redesigned the Registration Statuses and Directory to provide a streamlined and user-friendly approach to managing users. Upon logging in to FRONTSTEPS, you’ll notice the following changes:

  • Registration Statuses are updated to focus on non-registered users
  • User-friendly look and feel, including color-coding of Roles and Registration Statuses
  • Enhanced Search option
  • Enhanced filter options ability to filter on combinations of users and registration statuses
New Directory Layout

The second enhancement we’ve launched is related to email settings for residents. We’ve updated the settings so all residents can still be communicated with even if they have not yet registered for the platform. This helps ensure all residents will receive your emails regardless of their registration status. This also allows your current communications to be used as a tool to help drive more residents to register for FRONTSTEPS by including calls-to-action within your newsletters and other community-wide communications.

If you’re interested in learning more about the Directory redesign, we created a helpful article providing more detail on the new Registration Statuses, as well as tips on navigating the new layout.

Do you have feedback you’d like to share with us on how we can improve our platform? Make sure your voice is heard by sharing your thoughts on our digital productboard! Remember, our #YouAskedWeListened initiative is fueled by customer feedback, so if there’s something you’d like to see added or improved be sure to let us know!
